Paula Manning Presents at AALS on Bar Preparation Based on Human Learning

Professor Paula Manning presented at the 110th annual meeting of the Association of American Law Schools (AALS), held January 6-10 in New York City. Her presentation, titled “Raising the Bar,” discussed the need to develop comprehensive bar preparation programs based on current research about human learning. With over 100 people in attendance, including faculty and Deans from law schools across the country, Professor Manning’s presentation highlighted accomplishments at Western State by sharing insights on teaching methodology and bar preparation strategies.  The AALS event is the largest worldwide gathering of law deans, faculty, and staff, and featured over 800 speakers at more than 200 sessions covering a wide range of legal topics.
